Sandor 27th December 2015

Tribute Sándor - 23rd December 2015 at Memorial Service Dearest Pauline, You have left us way too early, this is a very sad day for us. How much would we have loved to have you spend more time of your life with us and your grandchildren. Thank you for accepting me as your son in law in your family and for your continuous hospitality and generosity towards us. You lived an example of service and faith to all of us. I will never forget our Christmas and Special Day family events; I felt you were the happiest when you could entertain in your circle of family and friends, which was your genuine way of expressing love and gratitude towards other people. One day every single one of us has to die. My mother used to say that one of the few democratic things on this planet is that we will all leave it the way we entered, we are not taking any possessions with us. Death does not distinguish between the rich and the poor, the races, the nations, or the genders. When you look at the life of some people you would say they have no life in them; yet there are others where you can say those people truly lived and loved life. When I look at all those pictures and memories that you shared with us Pauline, I can say that you were a person who truly lived her life. I will miss you dearly and I am sad for the years we were hoping to still have ahead of us with you in our midst. In my heart I know though that you are now happy with your Saviour, smiling from above. I also understand that with every passing, new beginnings are possible. Let this be a start of healing and progress for your family that you would have wanted for us. With all my love, Your son-in-law Sándor
